I love paper and many times I let the paper be the focal point of the card. With a lot of fussy cutting and some creativity it allows me to make some nice cards.

This card has 2 tags one for each child when our hero writes home.

 I like to add a little something extra to each card whether it is a tag, a special fold,

or even a keep sake charm.

This paper was genrously donated by my Stampin Up representative! Thank you P.W. 

Made from all cuttle bug products and sentiment from Stampendous.

                                             Entire card was made with various stamps and Bic markers

Baby shower card

This was a special baby shower card for a mother to be at my job.
This mother did not like traditional baby powder colors.
 I made this as a decoratice piece for the babys room.

Used Graphic 45 paper;
Spring Fiery Collection, Olde Curiosity Butterflys and Wizard of Oz collection

The botton moves up and down to open and close card

Shhhh My Moms- Mothers Day Card!

I have worked long on this card
- a full day.
Including a few trips to the craft store.

Midweek Challenge-Patriotic

I learned the technique of piecing and love it. The girls skirt and shirt is made with patriotic paper. I used Crystal Lacquer for her tie.

This is my favorite card out of all it is clean and simple

 Sketch  8- twin cards (One for a hero card and one to send)

It is hard to see but the red stars are under the deminsion of the other stars. It is all 3D.

Getting things started with my lil' Rebel

Number 1 Challenge : Piecing

Things i learned about paper piecing thru lots of error
1. well inked pad needed
2. pick stamp easy to cut out
3. choose a light backround (can not see stamps with dark)
 made lots of doggies

I love Mambi Christmas Paper and have been holding onto it

because it is so beautiful. But, today just for the challenge, I broke into it.

I have always said..."i do not know which i love more..making cards or

 organizing the stuff to make cards".

all of my scraps fit into 2 small bins that are 8x5

all scraps are then arranged by similiar size and then clipped together for easy view.

I have organized some scraps with backrounds. This helps me be creative and think of diffrent designs.

Finally got the measurements

for the middle world part it is 5in across-3 1/4 horizontal

cut across and layer the 2 sheets together and cut at the same time to match 1 3/4

does that make sense? The middle piece is 1/2 inch and the piece inside of this is 1/4 inch

I tried to rough up the edges (sand paper) but it made it just look messy..LOL.

With the sentiment i had to use an old templete that i had... another reason to go to micheals..oval template for my cuttle bug.
